Angling mainly, bit good at tying knots only not the ones that easily undo.

My side job is more hobby and exercise do gutter fitting, cleaning, that sort of thing, brings a bit of pocket money in so I can do the angling with what I get from that.

Not sure if the dog is a hobby or a chore, rehomed at 2 with no social or lead skills add to that he is a Hunt Terrier from a working line, I'd say I have done alright with him, follows me everywhere doing close protection

A few years ago there was a programme with Kaye Humble walking the coast (I think) and visiting places and meeting people. On episode she went to a micro gin distillery and sampled the wares. She was then invited to make her own. So basic gin and add botanicals. I expected a long period of infusion but 40 minutes later they were drinking Kate's gin. The owner said it was really good and actually said "Am having that recipe!"

I have to agree with the guy above me in comments. I build race bikes and once you get the taste of freedom a bike gives you, you will never look at a car and think god that's quick lol... I got in a friend's car the other day and it was only when I looked at Speedo I had no sense of speed as to cosseted in a car.

"Learn to ride a motorbike and get out and see the world a different way. The biker community is very welcoming and friendly. You'll also have something big, hot and throbbing between your legs and an excuse to wear tight leather "

I did my cbt about 20 years ago with the intention of doing an intensive course so I could get a ducatti monster but ran out of holiday to do it. I wonder with my arthritis if I'd feel fully in control? I might try it again! I would like the freedom of zipping off somewhere

"I have to agree with the guy above me in comments. I build race bikes and once you get the taste of freedom a bike gives you, you will never look at a car and think god that's quick lol... I got in a friend's car the other day and it was only when I looked at Speedo I had no sense of speed as to cosseted in a car. "

I don't drive fast, my car has telematics that feed into my work

"I threw myself deeper into my passions when I retired. I always loved the ocean, being in it, on it or by it. I now do so much voluntary work in marine and ocean wildlife conservation, preservation and protection. It’s hugely rewarding and I’m doing what I love

Oh i love this... I have an affinity with the sea... I will investigate how to do this - maybe starting rivers as I don't live next to the sea.. Yet!

Thank you x

Well, all rivers flow into the sea. Follow the flow and your heart. Always happy to talk ideas"

I will reach out to you when I've done some research x

I’m in the market for a new hobby soon, as I’m retiring from my current one of building scale model aeroplanes.

I might turn to golf.

I love to get out in the woods/trails on my mountain bike and I also love to upcycle furniture.

I find both really help with my mental health and going out on the bike helps with my fitness, lots of climbing up long fire tracks for a few minutes of enjoyment going down through the trees.

I took up burlesque dancing in 2019 and it was the best thing I ever did. Aside from the incredible experiences of performing. I've made a group of friends who are just the best.

It's also the only hour of the week where I feel sexy.

I dabble in photography, not as much as I should. But I also run a local memory café as a volunteer, for people and their carers who have dementia. But to be honest anyone can turn up, all are welcome.
