My tattoo is crap and embarrassing, which is a shame, as I love tattoos. I just have yet to find the perfect artist for me. My last one was a hasty job done when I was 18 and high (and not so much on life).

As for tattoos being crap... it's a matter of taste. If the OP is an artist, then your standards will be higher than most. I suspect some of the tats you deem are crap mean a lot to those they adorn.

I have several tattoos but don't show them off all time, dont see you point really, why have a tattoo if you don't show it off when means something to the person who has had the tattoo done

I have both sleeves done along with a few others. It's hard not to show my tattoos on pics unless I'm fully clothed, which sometimes defeats the object of pics on a site like this...

I think you can just about see part of my leg tatt on 1 pic but other than that they are invisible on the pics

I had mine deliberately done where my skin was best and the tatts would look as good as they could on me.

Far too many people don't give consideration to what they have done or research who is going to be doing it for them.

For example, I would never have upper arm tattoos, cos I don't have the arms for them (in my opinion) and they wouldn't look as good as they could.

I would also never just go and try and get a 'walk in' with an artist that I hadn't researched and who didn't specialise in a style I was looking at.

But that's just me !

Had that tattoo done when I was 18, it's off a dogs head, heart and flower and was done by a very good tattooist in his prime ( Phil bond). He's done most of my tattoos

There are ways and means - trust me! Decent editing software hides them well - important for discretion with many!

Visible tats in my pics? None

Profile details? Does mention that I have some and I always ensure those i'm meeting are aware. That said - i've never had anyone go "Oh my God!!" on a meet - and they're not small!

Won't be showing them on site though as with many peoples work - they're individually designed and as easily identifiable as a face pic!

Considering your blowing your own trumpet,like to see some of your work, you might think other tattooist work is shit on some people but others might think that of your work

We work a lot of conventions and most of the tattoo artists we meet are pretty cool and down to earth, well all the ones who do it for the love of the art x

what really annoys me is because I'm quite covered every time I go to a club people with tattoos come over and show me theirs and talk to me about them, seriously I find the conversation boring I don't want to talk about mine or see yours

having a pic of you where you can see your tattoos is not the same as people who have loads of close up pics of shitty little tattoos which is what I think hes getting at

If you have them you cant help but show them if someone takes a pic of you, mine are showing on my pics but the point of my pics are to show me not to showe my tattoos, they are just there as a by product cause I have them
