It's amazing that the director of this did the film " scum " aswell, which is about as brutal & stark a drama as you can get.

My favourite thing about the film is Bob's brown Rover. It reminds me of the Rover in the video for Human League's 'Don't You Want Me'. But the parallel continues...'Oakey spotted two girls dancing together on the dance floor, Susan Ann Sulley and Joanne Catherall. They were both 17-year-old students on a night out and neither had any experience singing or dancing professionally.
