What things have you previously disliked but recently enjoyed??

For me i have hated anything with cheese in/on it but the other night pinched a square of my daughters cheese on toast.

I used to be the biggest carnivore going. I wouldn't eat anything unless it had once breathed the same air as me. These days I'm vegan, which was a gradual process, but it still leaves me slightly bewildered how I ended up swearing off meat etc. Feels good though

I don't think there's a food I really dislike, I have preferences but so does everyone and once you've eaten Flaki and enjoyed it you'll pretty much eat anything!

Wonder how those masterchef judges do it.. there must be some foods they do not like yet have to eat everything and judge it fairly forgetting personal preference

Pretty sure the fat one would eat his own shoes if you drizzled some balsamic poncily over the top and sprinkled it with taragon.

I spose its less about an individual's taste and more about being able to taste all the ingredients and flavour interactions.

I used to have a fear of eating spag' Bol' not sure why. May have been the smell or something more insane but now I love to cook and eat Italian food. Making pasta is very therapeutic.

If you are talking about making pasta from scratch, then I agree. It is very therapeutic for some reason. Has a great calming effect.

I am indeed, it's hard graft kneading it before I put it through the cutter. Fresh egg pasta I find transforms any dish with a much more rich flavour to dried muck.

Eurgh.....raw courgette???

Until recently I would have sugar in my tea and coffee but since taking my diabetes seriously I cut it out. I thought it would be really hard as I had such a sweet tooth but to be honest I find them much more refreshing now.

I also had some chocolate last night and really didn't enjoy it at all. Tasted funny

Aye, then agreed. The kneading/rolling etc is most cathartic. Fresh ravioli was my fave. Which was another food I hated as a child as it was the tinned crap.

Make you right there..I had sugar in my tea until the mid eighties..I couldnt understand why people who didnt take it would make such a fuss if they accidentally drank tea with sugar in..then, for no particular reason, I gave it up in tea...not easy at first, its tastes quite 'dry'..but now, I know why they made so much fuss..for me, tea is absolutely vile with sugar in it, it just takes like hot sugary milk..

I couldnt give it up in coffee for a while though..but now I have I feel the same..

(still doesnt stop me having 4 chocolate digestives with it though!)
