Id say so, but I think that goes for most people
I have met so many guys and when we have met ive looked at them and thought theres not a cat in hells chance they will like me, but they seem to and even want to meet again
We see our bads points other see our good one |

Why are they different?
I think we are as much how others view us as how we view ourselves. Of course you (one, not you per se) might be dysmorphic and can't see yourself.
I look in the mirror and see a 5'10" perfectly proportioned sex goddess. Then I catch sight of myself in a shop window and realise most people will see me as a slightly dowdy, short, fat, muddle aged woman. Those in a club situation will be see me as a pair of boobs. My friends see something else. All of that is me, except the actuality of 5'10".

It's between middle aged and old aged, where the mind starts going and they.get muddled to how old they actually are. |

It's the term I have coined for us over 40s to 60s. Middle age now seems to come at 60 - try calling a 60 year old elderly and see the response. We're not young anymore (although I see many a 45 year old man describe himself as young on profiles here) but we can't quite claim middle age either. It also describes that we dress and act younger and not entirely sure which category we fit into. |

That too. When I started writing about this new sexual exploration I have been on for the last 3 years I called it Diary of a Muddle Aged Woman. I had to stop as I'm not sure anyone would believe it, looking at me. |

I think I see myself not so different from the way others do. Of course you never show all your persona at any one time so most people, except for close friends and family, would not know you that well.
I can be very serious, deep, meaningful and sometimes over analytic but my gym mates would not know about that side as in the gym I am a "different person".
I can be frivolous, fun loving, exuberant and a very sociable individual - my clients would not see that side, or at best get a glimpse through my sense of humour.
So I guess, in summary, most people usually only see a part of another person and it takes time and some effort to "get" the whole person.

Yes I think so
I do sometimes think to myself did I really say/do that.
Other people, I Have now come to the conclusion that if they see me and like me good if they don't, tuff I am who I am and I'm not going to change for anybody else than for myself!  |

physically all I see in the mirror is a big post pregnancy belly (still after 2 years!)
Most other people tend to notice my height, boobs & red hair and without exception everybody thinks I ooze confidence, the reality couldn't be further from the truth!

If i could see myself as another person I would probably cringe at how I look and act.
I think back to times at work and want to crings and panic.
im not very confident like that. It would be nice to have someone constantly check my appearance for me and tell me i look fabulous lol |

My skinny friends think I'm fat. My fat friends think I'm skinny. I agree with them all.
There's a cool video doing the rounds, think it's for Dove. Women describe themselves and a sketch artist draws a picture. Then other people describe the women and he draws another picture.
The difference between the pictures is quite sad really. The women saw themselves in quite a bad light, whereas other people picked out all their good points. |

People say I'm brave, strong & determined.
Some people see me as demure, quiet, reserved.
Some people see me as sometimes slutty, horny, confident, outspoken.
I see me as someone who is the former, who is growing towards letting the latter show to the world and not giving a damn.  |
