Do you pee in pools?
Jump to: Newest in thread
It happens - I’ve had to adjust chemistry of pools to account for it. The dye thing is a myth though told by countless lifeguards, kids swim coaches and parents to ensure the little buggers get out to go for a pee. 😂
The one that makes me laugh every time is the comedy sketch circulating on social media where the lifeguard gets a 📢 and announces that everyone has to get out of the pool for safety reasons whilst the lifeguard takes a toilet break…
Only for him to climb down from the tall chair and wade out into the pool, stand there waist deep for a minute, then climb out back up to the chair. The horrified and stunned looks on the hotel pool guests faces is absolutely exquisite… 😂 |

"When I was a young child but certainly not not; I do wee in the sea though.
But what about the little fishes and the crabs n stuff? "
They pee, poo and, fuck in it so me having a little tinkle in it from time to time is nothing by comparison. |

"Ewwww no, but is it true that they use a colour changing chemical that detects if you do?"
It isn't, but to be honest the 'water' in a swimming pool is so full of chemicals there's no reason they couldn't, but why? Urine is mostly water with a small amount of other compounds. Similar in some ways to sweat, although generally more water (90% in sweat, 95% in urine), salt content similar, slightly more urea in urine, but we're talking fractions of a % |
