I think swinging is many different things to many different people
I got told by someone I talk to that what I want is not on here. As in not just sex.
Makes me think of why I am here.

Personally I would have questioned them rather than taking what they say at face value. People have found all sorts of different types of connections on here. It's all about the mindset and meeting that right person. I wouldn't listen to negativity🤷♀️ |

The cuddles, stroking my hair, holding hands and kissing until our lips fall off.. I miss that. It is possible to have a level of physical intimacy with sexual partners but emotional intimacy can only be found in a relationship. It's important to me and I couldn't be with someone who didn't show both sides. |

I think quite a few people manage to find it, whether it's the emotional intimacy of friendship or the physical intimacy of a lover. Or both.
I really value it and have been fortunate enough to find other people who do too.

I've found emotional and physical intimacy with people on here without dating them, without being in a relationship with them.
The idea that you can only find those in relationships might be true to those who prefer an emotionally monogamous, more traditional relationship but it's far from applicable to all.
How intimacy looks to me? It varies. You can have different levels, can't you? There's also more than physical and emotional. I love social and intellectual intimacy, spiritual doesn't really factor in for me. |
