The main purpose of setting up a profile on here is to try to interest and attract others.
Do you think it's best to make your profile as average as possible, with little text and photos that are no different from thousands of others, or maybe try to make it more interesting, highlight your best points and post images that catch the eye?
Because I know what I'd do. |

Almost everyone falls in to the average category. However I think it's great if people have good self esteem and don't rely on false modesty and fake humility. Confidence is a good thing. If other feel it's misplaced that really is down to them. |

I think you have to remember that a profile is akin to a shop front window, where you are displaying yourself to those who may be interested in your wares.
Now would you be more likely to be interested in the fancy window display with the welcoming light and pretty things on display, or the window display where they’ve just shoved the bare minimum in.
Fab is no different. The getting to know you part is where you out the egos and those not compatible. And there is nothing wrong with that. |

Also, I think we all tend to adopt a persona here - be it based on words, or pictures, or both
That persona is wildly open to interpretation
It will attract some, whilst deterring others |
