Yep, the mountains of Scotland, and parts of North Yorkshire received their first delivery of the cold stuff in the past couple of days.
I think it's going to be a harsh winter, so, how are we going to survive? Hot tub? Sauna? Steamy session? Let's here your best ideas for turning up the heat |

I envy you, dear chap. Truly, madly, deeply.
I'm still waiting for my favourite season to beckon in full Åutumnal bloom: the crisp Champagne air, the rustling of parched leaves, the log fires, the Shepherds Pie, the mulled wine, mid-afternoon snoozes and the Jam Roly Polys with bourbon vanilla custard. |

My local leisure centre has steam room and sauna which I use anyway after a swim or workout, but shall be booking more sessions in the colder weather for sure. |

I love winters although will only do around half on the uk. I have a shed full of wood so nice warm fire every night, joggers, hoodie and thick socks, home made curries, chillis and stews, long walks , saunas, the odd shot of whisky or rum at breakfast and hot chocolate & baileys in the evenings |

Climate change
It's trying to get back to it's normal period rather than jumping ahead, and it's seems like it's going to be a terrible winter with plenty of snow in either November or December might even as early as end of October. Be prepared and don't get caught out |
