Hi, I’m new and still trying to figure out how things work on here. If I send someone a message and it remains unopened. It disappears from my message sent after a week. Is my message still in the recipient inbox?
I understand that people can be inundated with messages and might not get round to reading them. Do I send another message? I’d hate to be that guy!! 🫣
Thanks in advance xx

I haven't read the last 100 or so messages i've received... I deleted them all because they were all one-liners, filthy and proved that they hadn't read my profile.
Why would anyone message someone based solely on looks without reading what they are into? - They could be into drinking rat piss. |

"To be honest OP, the best thing you can do is delete all your sent items. It stops you worrying about whether it’s been read or not.
If you get a reply - great. If not, move on. 😊"
I agree. Ive learned my lesson. I read profiles start to finish, agonise over whether i might fit with them then i might send a message but delete it from the sent list straight away. If I get a reply can always take it from there. I never send a second if the first is not answered. Unfortinately i dont get unsolicited messages. such is the life of a solo male profile. |

It might still be in their messages unread.Usually if they delete it a line with "deleted" appears on your copy.
I personally wouldn't advise sending another message and as above delete your sent messages..
