I went through my lardar last weekend and disposed of all the out of date bits. Enchalada kit was 5 years gone, packet sauces were a few years out, coconut milk was 4 years out of date. Didnt use any of them though.
Like you, the chilli flakes, curry powder, herbs and spices are possibly a hit and miss date wise but they will be fine to use.

When clearing out my dad's place a couple of years ago we found a packet of blancmange mix he'd been hanging on to since at least 1981 as the price was seven and a half pence!
