Today, I've written a very horny short story and I'm very proud of myself.
English is my worst subject and I'm dyslexic so writing is my worst nightmare.
My question, to the ones who haven't written anything is, could you put pen to paper and write a story? |

im dyslexic aswell struggle to write but just done my first story called the cleaner in work love to know wat u think. |

No one should feel put off sharing their writing, I'm dyslexic myself so I get the concern.
Most stories have the same basic outline, a challenge, the refusel the arm twisting and acceptance then the journey begins and that's where you get to add your own thoughts and story content.
Besides, I only read the stories section of the forums when I see a woman has posted, men writing erotica is very dull and lads mag. |

I sometimes wake up with a hard-on and bang one out  links in my profile.
I wouldn’t consider myself any good, I do it for me , I enjoy what you can do with words and blending in real events and people in imaginative ways. It’s like planning a good role play it’s all in the details. |

I love writing them even though I’m a long way from being a good author, most are real, a few are based on previous experiences and exaggerated or fluffed up a bit but the ones I enjoy writing most are from my tick list or fantasy list of things I’d like to do, usually they are just for myself and partner but I have shared one or two on other platforms in the past and they have been appreciated and well received.
I do have a bad habit though of feeling the need to stop and proof read them constantly and I frustrate myself with the constant need to edit and tweak them, it passes the time and keeps me amused however. |

I can write if I want to. My problem is motivation, and feeling a little self-conscious writing erotica. I do it sometimes, though, although it's usually a response to something on a thread, like this contribution to NickyClungeSpeare's thread the other day.

I love to write. Not just erotica. My ex did too and we would pen many erotic stories for each other and about each other.
I've written a few stories over the years and one day I wlll eventually, finish the novel I have started to write.
Writing is good for the soul. Embrace it if you enjoy it.  |

Nice one Leggy! I read every single day for pleasure, always have, but I don’t have a creative bone in my body (no jokes please people, most of you are better than that) so I could never churn out something worth reading.
If you ever read the acknowledgments at the back of a book, you’ll see even the very best and most prolific authors have editors which help shape the story. As an amateur without that help you should be proud of whatever you produce, it’s great that you’re doing it.

I love writing erotica. A couple of my stories are on the Fantasies forum here (links in my bio) and I have a few more I'm working on but aren't anywhere near ready to post yet. I also have a couple of others which I've shared just with friends and people who've expressed a particular interest.
I reckon you should perhaps send your story to a friend whose opinion you trust then post it on the forum if they give it the thumbs up. |

Love the process of writing erotica and trying to do so from 3rd party rather than the male viewpoint. I'm currently writing a series of short erotic books in conjunction with an already established author. Hopefully the first will go to publication around mid March so pinkies crossed they do well. |
