One of my favourites is Dirty Dick's in Edinburgh, good food, real ale and the menu has cartoons from Oor Wullie and The Broons. I spent ages looking at all the menus just to read the comic strips

Also, if you ever visit Cape Town, it's well worth an hours drive to visit the fishing village of Paternoster, the village pub is called the Panty Bar, it earned the name due to the 100's of knickers pinned to the ceiling by honeymooners and amorous couples staying at the hotel.

The James Atherton in New Brighton, the Wirral, was initially renamed The Three Bellends after the region was plunged into Tier 3 in October.
