Dubai & Nottingham

When people post they will be in some very random place If anyone wants to meet up for some fun, When the majority of Fabers will be in Blackpool or Skegness for an 80s night at Butlins. Are they showing off ?

Anyway next week I will be in Samarkand, Uzbekistan and then maybe over near the Afghan border to see if we can get a selfie with a rocket launcher, If anyone fancies some outdoor fun?

I've been to Samarkand Uzbekistan. Lots of beautiful ancient buildings. There was no one within 3,000 miles on Fab's "who's on nearby"

Is ‘rocket launcher’ euphemism?

I know the architecture looks absolutely amazing I can’t wait.

We were originally going to go to Tashkent, but decided on Samarkand as it’s on the old Silk Road & that architect tore wow! . Other than the architecture and photography, What else would you recommend doing around Samarkand maybe within 5-6 hours drive? We are there for almost 5 days I’m thinking it’s possibly a little bit too long

Bukhara is definitely worth spending a couple of days in. I got a train there.

Was literally watching YouTube videos of Bukhara last night, Seems to be a popular place for travellers that are in Samarkand

I would definitely be up for it if you were a bit closer, it was warmer and you were a hot woman.
