It seems that every time I use a self scan in a supermarket these days I am selected for a basket check! Any of you clever people out there know what triggers a check are any of you responsible for the algorithm that picks on me?!!

I don't know why you keep getting checked unless there's a marker against your name somehow. So the only solution i can come up with is to remove yourself from the shop.

The thing that triggers it for me is when I am in a rush and have badly loaded my bag on the way round. When you can guarantee that taking everything out is going to take time you don’t have then you will get selected. I think they know what is in my diary. (They already know what is in my dairy).
