Inspired by the pretty genitalia thread. I’m sure you’ve all seen or are aware of the show where one ‘contestant’ sees six date potentials’ naked bodies gradually revealed feet upwards.
If you were single, would you go on it? Do you subscribe to the notion of picking a date based on their physical appearance before getting to know them?
And let’s not forget, you also have to get naked on national tv. How would you feel about friends and family seeing that? |

No.
I'm not ashamed of my body. I feel confident that I wouldn't be the last chosen and I don't mind if people I know see my body.
But. The last thing I want is someone who only wants me for my body. I'm a whole person, not just my physical attributes, and I wouldn't want to go somewhere specifically for people who think the aesthetic is the most important thing. And I would have no interest in choosing one faceless/personalityless body over another 💜 |

Even so, in a non show environment, ie the real world, an initial impression is formed visually prompting one party to attempt to take it further verbally, either looking for some kind of relationship or just a quick shag.
Granted, I'm ignoring the whole online thing, where words sometimes come before appearances. |

We nearly all pick dates based on physical appearance.
I would rather be tied to an anthill and have my ears smeared with jam than appear on Naked Attraction not least because the host insists on using the word vagina incorrectly and I would have to step out of my box and explain female anatomy to her. |

I'm single but wouldn't go on it. It's a show that's designed to be edgy but has nothing to do with serious dating. I'm good with my body but people I know don't need to see my flapping flange, no thank you.

We’re a discerning bunch, aren’t we. All answers fully expected and mirror my own views. I’d far rather connect with someone ‘normally’ then progress to sexytime (eventually with the lights on).
Outside observers might assume a bunch of perverts like us would jump at the chance for nude selection. Mind you, I expect there are a great many people on fab who would. They’re just not as classy as us. |

Not one for me.
Even beyond the actual “real life issues” of family, friends, employers seeing all of that- which would be a huge no thanks.
I actually don’t think I would want to expose myself in that way.
Honestly as a woman I feel like I have spent most of my life already hyper aware of the fact that I am judged by my appearance. I really wouldn’t rate very well on a show like that and oh there is the small matter of the fact I don’t think I could keep quiet for that long while someone just openly chatted about my body.
On the plus side I would probably be kicked off in the first round so they would only see my naked form for the walk of shame haha, so I guess the humiliation would at least be over fast! Hahaha |

I mean, we're pretty much doing nude selection on here anyway! Just don't have the TV cameras and host asking the contestant to critique our wangs.
That said, I could think of nothing worse than being on that show!
