I was off men way before this site.
Been here just confirms how pathetic men can be when it comes to sex and how i'd never want a relationship again.
But some have a lovely penis so it's not all bad.

Yep definately, this site has opened my eyes and to make matters worse I browsed a couple of fb groups that have completely knocked any trust I had out of me. Sometimes I really wish I could unsee things  |

Nope.
Some behaviour by men on this site has made me wary, a little cautious, a tad cynical before. But then I remembered I don't want my past to dictate my future and make me jaded. I like trying to take people for who they are, not what my previous scars tell me they could be. |

Not due to this site. I was pretty good at recognising dodgy men before we joined.
Some of the behaviour and attitudes I've seen from men on fab reinforced my opinion that there's a minority of men who have a very low opinion of women and some feel a sort of ownership of their partners. However I think it's too easy to fall on to the habit of criticising men and that's not helpful
I have to say that my eyes have been opened to certain distasteful traits a minority of women possess too. |

Nope, I understand that in every walk of life people will be people. There are good and bad men and women everywhere.
I do think there can be tendancy for some men to be misogynistic here with the 'imbalance' of men to women and couples, but that's not to say they wouldn't act similarly in real life. Equally I'm sure some women here actually inappropriately, but as I don't interact with them I can't comment.
Like life in general I constantly remind myself here that any comments or actions I see or am in the receiving end of, are not of my doing, and are merely a reflection of that individual's inadequacies and lack of social understanding... And I hit the block (and report - if required) buttons. |
