I've always looked up to you.

What's it like being tall?

The Continental

Great sometimes, like reaching the top shelf for Razzle and XXX Porno mag Vol.3

Shit other times, finding the right car to buy that can accommodate my long legs.

North West

Useful for reaching the stuff that is out of reach, I think. It's also his height that means he puts things out of reach without realising though

If I had a £ for every time someone says “What’s the weather like up there?” I’d be rich (ish) 💰

Carlisle usually

It gets old fast when I'm out with normal height people who keep getting bothered by people telling them I'm really tall, as if they dont know.

I can ignore the comments myself. I don't like when it means people bother the people I'm with.

Otherwise, it just is. I don't know what it's like to be short so I have no comparison 💜

My NDN is 6ft10

He has all sorts of stature issues as a result

I think there's a point where height becomes a hindrance too

6ft3 to 6ft5 is the goal

Only another foot to go

Overall I love being tall. You can’t deny that it does help in places like this.

There is a big downside - life is not designed for you. Everything - and I mean everything - is too small. That does grind you down occasionally but you just have to rise above it. Literally!

I love it , especially when I’m asked to pick things off the backs of shelves in supermarkets.

Makes me feel I’ve done my bit for the community !!

Most of the time it doesn't bother me I'm 6"3. But then there's times I'll be at work and I'm actively hunted down by customers too short to get certain items which annoys me

I have to say, my 14 year old son is now taller than me and I quite like having to look up - it’s novel! 😊

I don’t like it. I’ve never liked it my whole life. It’s the one thing I’d change if I could.

Although I like my food so it may help that. Being a size 16 at 5ft 10 I can get away with it a bit more than if I was 4ft 10 🤣

I can understand that for tall women but, personally, I love a tall lady. Own it is what I would say.

I was in a pub a few weeks ago and it had very low beams... Everywhere... Including behind the bar and I thought... Must be a nightmare for people taller than 6ft as theyd really have to properly bend over / stoop to move around in there. Great for short arses like me though. The tiny red lion it was called...

On the whole I like it. On dating apps one of the most commonly spun lines is “Please be taller than me when I’m in heels” which I invariably am. I can reach anything I need to and I’m a little bit closer to the sun for warmth.

But I could never own an old house because I constantly bang my head on beams and doorframes, I’m slim so I look gangly, and I can’t buy small cars.

I'm also 6'10. Yes it has perks of being able to reach every shelf in shops, changing lightbulbs etc but no-one thinks of anything else being a hindrance. For example:

- I cannot go into any normal high street shop go find clothes as most of the time largest size is 2XL, yes some stores have finally started to stock 3/4XL on some items but not many

- Shoes, I'm size 15 feet, I have no choice but to order shoes online as most of the time the largest size available is 12/13. Its hard to find good shoes when you can't try them on first. When I do find shoes, they are much more expensive than the smaller ones, yes its more material but why sre shoes between sizes 7 and 12 the same price but 15 is like 30-40 more in some cases?

- The world in general was not built for tall people. As said in previous post, on average everything is geared hp to 6'5. This includes vehicles, doors, parking spaces, hanging signs in supermarkets (at eye level for me). Humans are slowly getting taller, I've seen teenagers almost as tall as me and I feel sorry for them as I know the struggle they face, and this isn't strictly involving young guys but the young women as well. Its harder for them

- Beds, feet hanging off the edge all the time without any coverage, just waiting for the monsters to get me one day!

Showers and baths - its not shower head, its shower chest! I can't fit in the bath anymore.

Stupid comments on the street - tiresome..

Rant over
