Mrs Knights has the answer for you - be conversational. Talk to the person, not a sex object. Think about how you'd talk to someone you encountered in a pub for example. |

I can only speak for myself but as a female we do get a lot of messages. It would take something outstanding for you to stand out. No profile picture wouldn't appeal to me. |

Most women - unless they've chosen to make the decision to adjust their filters so they initiate all messaging - are inundated with messages so rarely have the capacity to go and seek out people to message. Hence why folk are saying that your opening messages need to really stand out from 'the norm', and that your profile needs to pull them in as well. |
