I work in a highly regulated industry with established rules and regulations, and it is not always possible to change.

However, I would like to believe I am good at thinking outside the box.

Being a naturally unconventional and at time rebellious Aquarian, perhaps that is the reason why I feel frustrated at work more often than I would like!

Sometimes is does and sometimes it doesn't.

It all depends on what the change is, if it's for better or worse or just for the hell of it because some boffin is trying to justify his existance.

But either way

'Shit happens'

Modernisation is good if it makes one's life easier but I'm not in favour of pulling down old buildings just to build 'glass walled' new ones. If something has character then it should be preserved for as long as possible. If you're talking about traditions though, then I believe that they should be kept as they are part of our cultural heritage but I see no harm in updating them to reflect modern life if it's done tactfully.

Pro's and con's to both sides,

There is always a cost for reform and it tends to be tradition, but the cost of maintaining tradition is usually progress.

I tend to admire reformers more than traditionalists....

Bit of both is always good. too much of the same thing gets boring.
