I don't drink that much these days, given I live in the middle of butt fuck nowhere, so it's a rare occasion I may 'slightly overindulge'.
But nursing one this morning. Sorry, this afternoon. Didn't crawl out of bed til pushing 12.
Doing jaegerbombs out of a small Pyrex jug with a shot glass in it, along with flavoured vodka, cherry cider and wine seemed such a good idea at the time. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
When was the last time you woke up feeling like Satan himself had scraped sandpaper over your tongue and then had a dance off with that Aussie breakdancer in your stomach? 🤔

It always seems a good idea at the time lol … I’ve got a bit of a one, but I did sleep well for once this week lol.. seems that’s the answer to a good nights sleep, but head hurts in the morning ..
Good luck with it dude |

"A few weeks ago after I hosted a fabbers board game night.
I never overindulge on wine and this is the reason."
Yeah. Was cards against humanity at mine last night.
It got messy. And slightly unhinged as always........🤔😂😂 |

I've never tasted alcohol in my life so never had a hangover.
For those who do get them I'm always curious if you feel it's worth it or if it was genuinely a good night when you feel like shit the next day? |

I’m doing this alcohol free thing. The nights feel kinda empty. Like, nothing really substitutes music and alcohol. I don’t have any passion for not drinking, I’m just eating better and felt like it would be good for my body along with that. I’m going to the cinema and things like that just to occupy the nights. |

Oh it was definitely worth it.
Once in a while doesn't hurt. Too much too often is never a good plan. |

1st January 2014. I stopped drinking forever from that day, although my hangover wasn’t the reason (nor was it a NYE resolution). I realised during that evening I didn’t need or want to be d*unk again. |

Summer 2008 after my then sis in law’s hen do. It was pretty grim and I took several days to recover. I’ve not been that d*unk for a long time and now, coincidentally, rarely drink anyway. I prefer to be able to drive, should the need arise. |

St Patrick's Day 2022.
I just popped into Helgis for a "quick one" and before I knew it I was blackout d*unk (those whores of Babylon will sneak up on ya) Woke up late for work smelling of pee and puke (some of it was mine though) Head was as banging as the bits I remember from the previous night. Have hangover fear now as a result. |

2008. Sambuca was my friend that night, got in at 2am and in work at 6am, sat in our freshfood chiller fir a cold blast for 5 mins with a fanta, got laughed at by my duty manager and then worked off the headache. I remember every drink and everything that happens the next day which was always fun when my mates never remembered |

Long time ago. I went from having no hangovers in my early 20s to crushing ones in my late 20s. So bad I stopped drinking for about 10 years. I drink now but never to a point where a hangover would follow 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

My last hangover was the last Monday of September 2003 off it 21 year's now.
Never looked back, best decision I ever made.
And I know more funny, witty creative and interesting people who don't drink rather than those that do. Funny how I thought sobriety would be boring and I'd turn into a dry shite on the contrary it's the total opposite.
Life is good, I love being sober and it doesn't stop me from going to swinging events, being a cross dresser and meeting people for random hook ups, giving up the drink made me more confident, honest and content.... |

Absolutely years ago. A housemate at Uni who liked a drink, but whom didn't like to get d*unk when no one else was, had a nasty habit of going to the bar and slipping spirits into peoples' drinks when she was buying.
She was a nuisance with it, but luckily only did it to me the once. |

Personally, I've never had one. I sometimes wake up abit thirsty if I've had too many shorts but I'm not sure that classes as a hangover?
For the Mr, agew years ago. He gets awful hangovers that last a couple of days so opted no to drink more than one or two |

The other Sunday, both of us. To be fair not a bad one, pretty low on the hangover scale. We were staying over at freinds for a club visit. We had a cocktail or too and some Absinthe before hitting the club.
Last time we were proper hungover was end of summer camping on holiday in Cornwall. The next day was a complete write off and we just spend the day lounging around naked (much to the amusement of the other campers for our sorry state). |

A house party that I naively believed (after being told numerous times) was just a house party. It wasn't. It was a fuckfest.
I blame freepouring porn star martinis. And tequila.
It only lasted a couple of hours. The hangover that is. The fuckfest went on for too long. |
