"I must be even more common as its just juice for me! "

Juice is different to squash or cordial as you don't need to add water to it to dilute it.

It's a mix of rasberry grape and blackcurrant I think. So it's cordial. Thats the law. Nothing to do with me!

"squash or diluting juice. Cordial is a different thing."

'Tis true, though I call it juice or squash.

I am partial to elderflower cordial though

It's never seen a lime! Sodium sulphite is the main flavouring in that muck. Also used as an oxygen scavenger in boiler feedwater.

Roses Lime Cordial includes Lime Concentrate....that's Lime Concentrate from Limes.

Not to be confused with Lime flavouring in Lime squash.

Actually in the definition of either, it's perfectly acceptable to call any sweetened fruit based drink either cordial or squash. Whatever you call it your covered by trading standards.

it's cordial for me (I always feel squash has 'bits' in it like lemon barley)but that's just a personal preference.

Squash = add water

Pop = fizzy

Juice = no need to add water

Cordial = added to a drink in a pub/American for squash

I have an odd system. I call it squash if it's supermarket's own, or Robinson's or whatever standard blackcurrant and apple, orange, your normal every day ones. If it's a 'high juice' posh squash I call it cordial!
