Just wondering if anyone can help. I have forgotten how to use my cameras. I can use full auto mode. I have not used them for a couple of years. And due to retire soon. And would like to get back into this |

Basics are simple when you get re familiar with them. There's millions of youtube tutorials that will get you back on it in now time. It boils down to balancing aperture, ISO and shutter speed.
ISO, lower the number the cleaner the image but also the more light you need.
Shutter speed, how fast the camera takes a picture. 100ths of a second is a solid place to start. You'll get minimal motion blur in most cases.
Aperture, how much light the lens lets in. lower number is more light but will also give you a shallower depth of field, blurred backgrounds. |

Start by setting you ISO and exposure compensation manually.
When you’re confident with that go with Aperture priority , master depth of field on portrait and landscape.
Then go with shutter speed priority and master low light and movement
Switch on the histogram
Now you’re ready for full manual
Good luck
