Do you iron your clothes?
If you wear a suit so you just iron the front of your shirt!?
Do you iron your underwear?
Do you iron everything or some things?
My mum used to say if you hung it up when it was still slightly damp it would sort itself out. Still trying that. Still doesn’t work |

I love to iron.
My shirts 👚 👕 get ironed.
I do not iron my smalls, rarely wear any nowadays.
If any other family members need ironing done I’m always happy to do theirs!
Kind Regards
Chad ThunderCock.

"Never iron anything.
If it’s creased I spray with crease release. Life’s too short to fuck about ironing
Crease release. I never knew that was a thing "
It’s a game changer. Spray. Pull, leave on hanger for a few mins. No creases. 10/10 |

Is this for blouses etc., or does it work for fellas shirts? |

Blouses 😂 it works for shirts too.
I’m not an expert so I’m going to assume if a collar needs something doing to it than an iron probably best |

I'm ex military and despite the stereotype I avoid ironing as much as possible. I hate it. I rarely iron anything for myself. I just hang my clothes and they genrally come out decent enough. The occasional shirt maybe if I'm off out for an occasion or night because you tend not to be able to get away with dress shirts. The only thing I iron on a weekly basis is the kids school shirts and uniform. If I weren't a lone parent I doubt my ironing board would see any action more than once a fortnight.

Having spent much of my childhood ironing stupid things like fitted sheets and dish towels (because I was told to, obviously), the adult me is a rebel. I don't iron anything. Well, unless it'd totally scrumpled. We buy things that are as crease resistant as possible and hang things up while wet and pull the creases out so it dries smooth etc. |

I'm very good at ironing and keep on top of it. It's a domestic chore I enjoy if listening to music or having something on TV.
I won't press underwear or socks, but everything else is fair game, including bed sheets 😁 |

I can't be the only one who read crease release as badly needing to go to the toilet after a bout of food poisoning... No? Just me? 😅 |

Been ironing my clothes since I was around 10 years old , ever since my mum ironed my school trousers inside out so as not to make them shiny. Got ridiculed mercilessly. Complained to her about it, got a ladle to the back of the head and had to iron my own stuff ever since. |

No I no longer Iron. As someone who had to do all the ironing for the household growing up, that ship has long sailed. I used to iron things if they needed it, but nowadays our Tumble drier seems to get creases out so long as not overfilled and that’ll do.
I do love hoovering though.

"I don’t currently own an ironing board.
I feel like everyone has an infinite amount of ironing given at birth and I’ve already done all of mine.
"
I'd completed my lifetime ironing ration by the time I turned 18 |

Being ex military, my eye twitches at the thought of wearing shirts/trousers that aren't ironed.
Also, for the ladies to note.. military guys get really good at polishing shoes. That means that we don't get bored moving our fingertips in little circles. Just saying. |

Yes, I iron everything fully as I take it out to wear them. I used to iron everything as I put them in, but stopped as it took a full day at times. Formal attire (shirts, trousers) will have a perfectly straight seemed iron in too.
I don't iron underwear though.
But I do always carry a pocket square (traditional and never for my use), which I also iron too |

Ah but freshly ironed bedsheets are
.
I bought an iron earlier this year at the request of my lodger. It’s still in its box under the stairs. If it needs ironing I don’t buy it, simple as. |

One of my nemeses
My father was a military man & everything had to be ironed so you could see your face in it & buffed sharp enough to cut yourself
He wouldn't let mum near his trousers or shirts as they had to be 'spot on' which is of course, more than perfect
Unfortunately none of this rubbed off on me, so I send mine to my 'woman who does', though that's not often as I don't have much that needs to be sleek & pressed (I wear boiler suits mainly when I'm tinkering)
I've tried ironing shirts but after an hour of wrestling they tend to end up more creased than when I started
I can do socks, hankies & towels (i.e. stuff that doesn't actually need ironing), I only do it for 'brownie points' as the Mrs can't do much around the house anymore
Otherwise it goes in the dryer on an 'anti crease' programme
I did actually see some crease release in a shop today & dismissed it as snake oil. I could buy some but I'd only end up drenching my socks in it so it shall stay on the shelf. Damn witchcraft |

What about the razor-sharp creases down the arms, across the yoke and on the pleats of a well-pressed shirt? We'd lose those, too. Chaps can't be dapper without the help of an iron! |
