our webcam has finally arrived, we brought it brand new from amazon, iv plugged it in and its just black we hae windows xp, iv read comments people have left them and they are all saying theirs worked straight away when plugged in, the pc has picked up on the webcam but when iv clicked onto it the picture from the webcam is black anyone know what could be wrong i know it works as its night lights are lit up. maybe im doing something wrong lol x |

do we need it lol you can tell its the female trying to do this lol. ill probs just wait for male half to come home from work lol cause ill end up breaking it lol x |

You may have to check your settings.
Control Panel, Device manager, Imaging Devices.
Especially if your laptop/desktop has a built in cam that is the default.  |

no, but its installed on pc x"
you need flash player if its blank once installed restart browser an try the cam most cams are plug in play. |

No, you probably dont need disc...
Should install and launch without one...
Wait till your OH has look,or try again later, may just be simple thing that you are not noticing...
