I met one of my friends under somewhat embarrassing circumstances
We were stood next to each other in a 'man only' space
We started chatting and I told her I was surprised that the door staff had let her in because it was men only
Was my embarrassment the ultimate compliment?
Who knows, but it spurned a friendship that has stood
That was maybe 20 years ago
She's as fabulous now ('convincing' is such an awful term) as she was back then and thankfully men only spaces, whilst not fully extinct, are becoming something of a dinosaur |
