Thought I'd make use of my time alone over the weekend and watch (again) the film Interstellar.

As keen astronomer and lover of the universe, I keep trying to understand what happens at the end, and I can't.

Is he inside the black hole trying to communicate with his daughter?, if he is, how did he get out?, as NOTHING can exit a blank hole.

And what was that framework he was in? Who built it?

Have any of you watched it and understand it?

I want to watch it, but your confusion leads me to think I’ll rage at the ending now.

The wee spinning thing says up, so he's still inside a dream.

And he's been dead the whole movie, that's why his wife never talks but the wee kid can see him.

And Rosebud was a sled.

I assumed it was some more advanced/intelligent beings that had learnt to navigate it helping him out. I need to rewatch it myself.

I, like you, have watched this movie sooooo many times and from what I understand the black hole he entered takes his conscience to create the framework. He doesn’t get out of the black hole as such but rather it collapses around him once his daughter, the sensationally hot Jessica chastain, finds the calculation to get the space station off the earth pulsing on the watch he gave her in morse code 👍🏽 then he’s rescued from the now dissolved black hole 😜 then the waterworks start 😂😂😂🥲🥲

The more advanced beings are future humans. All about time, innit.

(And about how love forms a connection so strong it can be sensed through/beyond/despite dimensions.)
