The music clips on this one are too short - just as you start getting into an aria it ends.

Do, it's great. Listen in the original language as it's not always so moving when translated and sung in English.

I thought tonight's episode was excellent. Acting superb as ever with a storyline that gave one's brain exercise for a change compared to some similar crime dramas..

As good as the original Morse in it's right

Tonight's episode sounds interesting.. Royality are visiting Oxford..

Poor Morse remains on general duties as ever.. How many victims before he is released from his day job??

Bridgend

It's on but have to say I'm finding it a tad slow.

I've tried to stick with it, but after last weeks episode and the incessant music throughout (I'm not a big fan of opera/less known classical), I'm losing enthusiasm for it this series.

Going to watch it on itv iplayer when we go to bed , really getting into these kind of police dramas at the mo Endeavour , Foyles war and death/murder in paradise , there's no need for all that running around and shouting kind of police work

Last weeks was always going to take some beating..

Tonight's plot I found was a little weak!! However it was good to see the Morse love triangle incorparated in to this episode as in the original Morse series his failings in women and love from his youthful years were often touched on..

I still enjoyed the _iewing all the same..

did seem a bit all over the place tonight..

the explanation that one brother thought he had killed the girl so other brother went and buried her..

but the first brother had only argued with her then she walked away and the GPO guy followed her etc..

so how did the younger brother know she was dead..?

bit weak i thought..

I knew paint on a jacket was going to be the giveaway but I still couldn't work out that it was GPO man.
