Not karma in the magical destiny sense but in an existentialist sense. Each decision we take creates new options but those options are also limited by the options of others. We have free will, but it’s free will to choose one of 7 types of detergent. |

But subconsciously something may draw you to one of them |

Absolutely. We are the options are the child, actions are the parent. We are all the product of our choices. Our inclinations, curiosities, certainties are all from what we have previously chosen. |

All of this.

"Absolutely
Be good and not many bad things happen "
That's utter rubbish, if you don't mind me saying.
I mean, make good choices and be a nice person 'cos it's the right thing to do, but there's no cosmic reward/punishment system 🤎 |

Karma, no. Sometimes really shitty things happen to really wonderful people. They don't deserve those shitty things.
I do believe that treating other people as you would like to be treated makes that more likely to happen. It's not karma, it's human nature. |

I agree with this. Too many people do shitty things and never have to answer for them.
And I totally agree that you increase your chances of good things happening to you if you try and do good things for others |

Fate, yes. Karma not so much. I wish karma was real but unfortunately I have seen far too many sad, awful things happen to really good people. And there’s so many twats that sail through life without a care in the world… |

No, but I think that if you go through life being unpleasant to people, then people are less apt to be kind to you and if you go through life trying to be pleasant, then folk will be more willing to stretch a point if you err |

If karma and fate were things, then some of the mega douche bags of history would have got their compeuppance. But they didn't, they got away with being douchebags.
Too much bad stuff happens to good and/or innocent people and again, nothing happens to change it.
Both concepts are codswallop. We're a pile of relatively cognisant atoms, blundering through the rest of the collection of atoms until our hearts give up and we return to being an uncoordinated pile of atoms. Our atoms do become incorporated into new stuff, but there's no "memory" of what those atoms previously formed. One might end up part of a blade of grass and a donkey and a pile of shit and a bunch of other random stuff, at opposite ends of the earth. |

Nah, things being predetermined, things being some part of an over riding plan. We make our own fate, we create our own history. If we didn't, change would never happen and idea's would never be born. |

To an extent. I do believe that you get out of the world what you put into it but not sure if I use that more as a motivational tool to keep me going because I'm aware that some people can do everything they can and get fuck all in return. |

Yes to both but believe karma only affects some and not all I’ve had done very ironic things happens to me that makes me believe it to be true most notably implying my best mates heart attack was due to being ower fat and living like a slob then a year later I had a heart attack as well haha
Not sure if this is fate but (sorry in advance if this waffles on) my ex moved out oct 2021 but aways maintained she was coming back till feb 13th 2022 when she told me she wasn’t, I debated whether or not to go out drinking and last minute I decided to, that night I met someone who I started dating fast forward to June when I got the sickness bug that caused my heart attack I didn’t know I was actually having one she came over to check on me and said straight away you need to go to hospital, when I got there they told me her I was so lucky as body was at the shutting down stage and wasn’t that far from death. Choosing to go out that night saved my life. I think that counts as fate haha |

Yes I believe in karma, but not as in revenge or reward. Rather if you believe in karma, you'll have a positive personality and good things with come to you.
I have proved this if other things too. |

"Do you believe in karma or fate?
Do you think one choice good or bad can lead to a continuation of the same?
Do you just deal with things as they come at you or have a plan for most situations?
"
No - neither. But I firmly believe that we can change or influence *most* things within our control. Shit will always happen to us but the way we respond and deal with it will ultimately affect the outcome in a more positive or negative way. |
