I have one car name that carries into each main vehicle. Kind of a machine spirit that has carried with me since my first car at 17. She just gets a new body / clothing as such each time I get a new one.
Weird I know |

No idea why we don't see it "

On one degree it’s like why people name animals to humanise them. My friends signs just called dog / the dog |

All our neighbours call my truck Betty. I used it to block the road for the queens jubilee and the ‘posh lot’ from down the hill called the police saying someone had dumpe a scrap vehicle in the middle of the road |

I had a lime green Ford Cortina back in the 90s that got me everywhere. The exhaust fell off once and a few other expected injuries, but bless her, 'Betsy' was a damn fine machine.
She was 'sold' for a case of German beer to my boss when the wheel fell off. |

It’s never been official but mine’s called Vicky and she’s a good girl and does what she’s told, she only opens up for me and I love being inside her, especially when she groans |
