Do you take a receipt with every purchase. It is a very common question . Happy weekends everyone

I always want a receipt even when self serving

I was at Tescos the other night. Used the scanner, paid, my trolley stopped when trying to leave. The security guard asked me for my receipt and I told him I didn’t request one.

Luckily the woman working in that area spoke up and said it’s all okay

So always a receipt for everything from now on

Depends on what I've bought and how much it costs.

But general shopping, no. Expensive items that might break and need replacing, yes.

Only for expensive purchases, things like clothing and shoes or the ones that have a warranty on them.

For things I might need the receipt for, I’ll get a digital one instead of paper.

I definitely do want a receipt. If my bank account has been rinsed empty, or the goods are shoddy, I'd feel stupid not having any confirmation of the transaction
