It’s sort of stating the obvious. Also I don’t get the importance of it. I’m Bi myself, but the self aggrandising of the gay/bi community is very odd imo

Because being the only queer person in your family can be very alienating 🤷♀️ I’m not the only queer, but I am the only lesbian, so it can get isolating. For me, remembering that I’m not the first person in my lineage to be queer makes me remember my ancestors and how it isn’t just me.
It’s also just a nice saying. |
