"What are people's first message to someone on here to engage in conversation? "
No matter what you start with
The majority of people are ignorant and arrogant
Especially the women
Maybe its that im repulsive to them
I don’t know or care
But politeness is a virtue

Just be respectful.
However, most of the time we look at the profile and pics first and if they aren’t appealing what is written in the message is irrelevant.
A message, to us, is an invite to view your profile and pics.

Ignorant or arrogant or just don’t see an attraction on any level and are not obliged to reply?
Remember it works both ways. You don’t have to reply to messages either |

Tbf mate what I’ve gathered so far from my own experience here and from reading the forums. There are too many single men and these women are hounded with hundreds of messages so it’s hard enough getting a message read and a reply is like gold dust but we keep plodding on 🤣🤷♂️ |

I send a fanny pic, Mr sends a dick pic, then we say how's you, yous are looking great, then we'll send a wink and a random friends request. If we don't hear anything back in 20 minutes we'll send another asking why they're not interested? Followed by another 4 messages after an hour.
Just our way of doing it. |

It’s very very rare that I will message someone first, but when I do message someone, I read their profile carefully first, look at their pics, and then I try to say something that shows an interest in them and what they have said or shown from their profile.
Too many of the messages I get from men are just “hey, how are you?” Or worse “fancy a fuck” and it’s boring and I just delete.
I have noticed that couples make much more effort.
Also I absolutely hate when a message is cut and paste and you know they have sent it to loads of people.

I rarely msg posters out of the blue, and if I do it's typically in relation to something they have posted in a forum.

I actively avoid commenting on their photos as that's just not my style, and I feel uncomfortable giving such compliments.

(I'll make a comment about a thing, but not the person, eg, Mrs DS dyed her hair earlier. I did not say, "YOU look good/nice/whatever". I said "That colour is good." I try to de-objectivise. |

I think pretty much every message I get from a woman or a couple is a simple 'hey how are you' or something like that. I don't mind at all and I think that's in part to not getting so many of the same thing that it becomes repetitive.
Also they generally come from people with decent profiles which, for me, carries a lot more weight than the message
Any opening messages I send wouldn't be more than a couple of lines. |

I very rarely send a first message. However for the ones I have it could be because they've viewed my profile and have a gorgeous chest or decent profile write up.
Profiles that are all of dic pics tho I cba to message I'm more intrigued by what is above the waist |

Most women and couples get A LOT of messages and we have a little filtering system basically no profile picture , no response
Also shit profile no info, no veries , no response
When I was a single female I always noticed the funny ones |
