It’s Monday. I’m tired. It could be said a bit grumpy

So it’s a takeaway for me, Thai I think

What’s everyone’s choice of takeaway and is it a regular thing or just for a treat or cheer you up kind of thing?

Usually a Saturday thing for me when I can’t be bothered cooking after work. And I did order a roast from the pub yesterday. Through the week if I’m tired I might order a little something as well. So basically every day now I think about it.

Thai is our preferred takeaway option.

We have it maybe once a month…maybe more if I check my bank statements 👀

I'm a pizza or curry girl, but I very rarely order takeaway - although I'm partial to ordering groceries when there's a promo on. Finally gave in and did the free UberOne trial though, so might have to take advantage of it... 😋

Oh sounds good! I like how every region has different things in their chip shops. I found out potato fritters is a mostly Scottish thing after I asked for one on holiday and got a span fritter 🤢

That’s a potato scallop in my neck of the woods. Used to always get them when I was younger if I had a spare 20p.

Don't tell Shag but last Friday we had stuffed crust pizza from Pizza hut 🤫. However a takeaway on a school night is a no no in our house.

I have a takeaway once a week or fortnight but usually only get them on a weekend. They always cheer me up though - I love food 😂🥴

I rather cook myself, its hot, good and cheap. If I am paying those prices I'll eat out, have a good drink, nice food and be very social too!

Always get one every weekend (always Chinese) but if the slightest thing upsets me at work that day I’ll get one that night

Great choice on the Thai OP.

Used to take out alot a few years ago, but now finding home cooking more enjoyable, healthier and dare I say it, tastier!

Take out now a treat (which I've got to earn), I'm a good boy so I get treats often.

Favourites are:

Fish n chips

Pizza

Thai

Chinese

Kebabs/shewarmas

Buon appetito

I could find an excuse everyday - so this week i am trying to be good, i have bought some pre made salad things and just cooking a bit of chicken or something to go with them.

I love a takeaway but then cant eat it all and get annoyed at myself for ordering it in the first place

Cooking bores me so I could easily live on takeaways every day. Sadly my recent exploration of this theory led to me getting chunky and not fitting into my clothes.

Once my diet has returned this earthly vessel to its former radiance, I will have to ration myself to 1-2 takeaways per week.

Typically they’ll be pizza / Chinese / kebab / chips. Yum.
