I don't want to be unoriginal but Irish, especially when it's soft.
It's not just the action it's all the associations with affection, humour, wisdom and kinship I guess that goes along with it for me. |

Yes it would. The voice in general rather than a particular accent.
There are a couple I'm not too keen on. I have a soft spot for an accent similar to mine.
It's the whole package for me. The accent, the timbre. Some people have a naturally delightful voice to listen to. |

There's not an accent that I dislike and I find them highly fascinating, when they are markedly different, even 5 or 6 miles apart. I find it a struggle to identify the exact origin of most. I like the Stokie accent and Burton on Trent is always reassuring to hear, as the people are so friendly, in general.
It's a pity should we ever lose them. |

I'm not really intolerant of any accents I'd say. They all have their quirks I suppose. Some are harder to understand than others.
