Is the fear of not having a working mobile phone

Do you think you spend too much time on your phone and do you think the actual name phone could be changed.

I would say the percentage of time I spend on mine making calls to being online or using it as a sat nav etc means the actual phone part is a very small minority of its use. My personal phone not my work one

Have you become dependant to a point on all your phone offers you

They aren’t really ‘phones’ anymore though are they? They’re hand held computers and can do almost as much as a decent laptop. It’s no wonder they’ve taken over our attention spans. and I’m guilty of this I’m always on my phone.

That’s what I mean. The % of time we use them as a phone is now minimal for many (although no market research has been done to prove this statement)

I was given a work phone for a couple of hours while my supervisor was away. I ignored all calls and pretended left it on silent. Safe to say I’m never getting one again

I fear that the Mods will now give you a permanent ban from the Forum for such a viscous comment

Whoever came up with the name clearly doesn't understand how the nomenclature works.

According to the ongoing standards, "nomophobia" would be "fear of the law". Which is actually punk af! Love it.
