"At least you're still within the average range. I'm 6'10 the world is not built for people my height!
I feel for you - I am 6’7 and I struggle.
Clothes and shoes....clothes and shoes. "

Furniture in general, low hanging signs in shops, constant reminders from strangers about your height...fab only goes up to 6'7 so thats a thing for me |

6’5” here, it’s not just clothes, public transport and airline seats that are a struggle but also only in recent years have they made bicycles big enough for us taller folk to enjoy |

I am 6ft6 and I get comments about my height.
But it has its positives. When out shopping I get asked at least 2 or 3 times to help get stuff off the top shelf at the back. Especially from the more elderly people and I am always happy to oblige.
Iv also got size 13 1/2 feet and decent shoes or trainers are also hard to find and when ypu do they are bloody expensive! |

Helping people get something from the high shelf is required under law of the giants
My feet are size 15, I know of some shoes that are super comfy but they are £110+, so I put up with £35 Vans |

This exactly. Same height and although I've found sourcing clothes easier over the years, trains and planes are a nightmare.
Other annoyance is meeting people for the first time and getting "oh you're tall". Yes I am, you wouldn't greet someone with oh, you're short/ fat/ thin/ black/ white etc so why call out my height!!! I even had it referenced in a work appraisal once. Completely inappropriate |

The first time I met our new HR director in person she made a blatant comment about my height in front of the whole exec team. I let it slide but it was useful when she had annoyed me in a board meeting and then went on a tirade about the fact that we needed a zero tolerance approach to abuse. I told her I completely agreed and pointed out that she should sack herself first. Her face was picture when half the meeting agreed that she had actually broken her own rules |

Why would they think you're intimidating? "
