I have just sat through a programme describing how earth's atmosphere was formed. (Interesting) and there were periods of time, billions of years where 'nothing' was happening. So I had the thought, if you were a scientist, with the ability to watch this billion year dance of life forming on earth, how tempted would you be in one of these slow periods of nothing happening would you be to just drop a little bacteria in the barren ocean to speed things up a bit
Basically, are you a watcher or a meddler? I think temptation would get the better of me and I would have to have a litle meddle. |

I used to be a watcher but have become a meddler. I’d throw a Nokia in and pull out an iPhone, create fab, whine about getting no messages even though I’m the only one on it and go back to watching. |
