"What drinks do you remember from your past that you haven’t seen in ages?
For me I haven’t seen, nor probably want to see, hooch
Also we used to have a brand of fizzy pop called Pin Hi "
They sell hooch is Asda.
I remember its predecessor, 'Two Dogs', as well as Thunderbird (red & blue), Mad Dog 20/20, Taboo, Mirage and good old Skol 1080. |

A swamp
A not missed experience from a misspent youth.
Advocaat, crème de menthe and bitter lemon with sundry other top shelf shots to availability. The bitter lemon causes the Advocaat to curdle into a disgusting green sludge. |

MD 20/20.
I drank a large bottle along with some beers for my 16th birthday, down the park while playing football. I quickly lost my motor skills and balance, then proceeded to fall off the climbing apparatus backwards, onto my head. Got knocked out cold for a little while, woke up and vomited.
It was a day to remember. 😆 |

"White lightening, havnt seen it for good reason!! 🤮 "
It was White Knight down in Cornwall. That stuff hadn't even seen an apple, but it was so cheap for a massive bottle.
Haven't drank it (or any cider) since one Heritage Day in Bodmin, when I was young. That day put me off all ciders for life lol. |

Vodka and Russian, some kind of mixer in a tonic water sized bottle.
Recently a tune for some kind of dyink called Armadillo keeps coming into my head.
And finally, here in Brazil Skol lager is very popular. |

"Advocaat
I haven't seen anyone drink that for maybe 20+ years.
It was always mate's mothers, who would drink it. The type to get pissed with us and play darts, or cards when we were 14."
You don't have a snowball at Christmas?! |

"From my student days, Aftershock, Buckfast, WKD.
I'm sure they still exist, but I don't go looking for them for fear of flashbacks and vomiting.
·
They did WKD™ in the 1960s...? "
1860's, darling. But thank you for trying to stroke my ego x |

My parents have a bottle of Galliano from 80s and I wanted to try some but the screw top is crusted on worse than a recently recovered Roman Amphora that’s been on the sea bed for 2000 years.
It is a drink from my youth that I’ve never actually been able to taste |

Alpine pop! ….the van used to pull up in the street and us kids used to throw our pocket money at what I’m sure now a days would be described as a very dodgy geezer and we’d all run off with a litre glass bottle full of sugar and chemicals unfit for human consumption….those were he days!
