"Last night briefly for us "
There's nothing like a quickie!
"This morning at 6.30am (not briefly!)"
Unless of course its an early morning slow one!
"Have you done it yet?"
Not since Saturday morning
"Or are you hot enough? "
Not me, but my partner was...
.
Have I got the wrong end of the stick? |

We only have electric here, so have to plan in advance to turn the heaters on, we refuse to until at least October, we are quite lucky, it doesn't get to cold in our house.
I also refuse to wear a coat until October too lol |

Will not put my heating on until 1st of October.
Will have to be careful though as that nasty prime minister has taken my heating allowance away.
Might sneak the Electic Blanket on if I find someone to share the bed with though. |

I don't have fixed dates for turning my heating on and off, but I've not needed it yet.
I have dug out my furry throw and had that over my legs while I lazed on the sofa last night. I also suspect I'll be using a hot water bottle in the next couple of days. For now though I've a good layer of insulation (ie fat) keeping me warm. |

Has to be bloody cold to even put a hoodie or trackies on, let alone the heating.
I generate a silly amount of heat and use a 4.5 tog duvet most of the year lol. |

I put mine on yesterday for a couple of hours, I was freezing. House is freezing today too so it may end up back on later. I don't wait until a set time to put it on, just when it's needed. I do make sure we wrap up first though. |

I'm still in t-shirt and shorts. I refuse to put the summer clothes away until I'm back from my holiday (later this month). Summer duvet is still on the bed, and windows are open all year round.
The heating goes on when we get the first frost, and then I might just get the fire going instead. |

It's bloody freezing - so much for global warming, I'm with Trump on that (naturally I also hold his views on windmills and electric boats and sharks).
What is wrong with this country, why cant we have a dry season and a rainy season like SE Asia (rather than constant damp, drizzle, rain, floods, etc).
Sat here thinking about getting the thermals out, and the onesie out (the slanket is already in use - if I can get the dog to move off it) |

"No. I want to see if I can survive until October as the fiancé and inlaws think I'm nesh.
It's going to be a two hot water bottles night tonight though. "
I so want to hear you say "nesh" in person |

It will be so bad but I promise you I will (if I can remember the word because I still forget it, even after several years living in the barren Northernlands). |

Not had heating on yet, but then I'm a human radiator, so that's no surprise behind why I don't mind the cooler months 😜 |

Haven't run the central heating for about six years now.
Gas disconnected in the street, boiler decommissioned but still in situ. Need to drain the system one of these days but easier said than done.
Got plenty of dry tree wood I could burn but mainly use a maximum (in really cold weather) of two Calor gas heaters which work out at about £10 per week and I'm not susidising what was a once public utility but now a privatised rip off (British Gas), with a year round standing charge for doing nothing, any more.
Wear more clothes and live in a healthier temperature, like I did as a 1950s kid. |

Another one in tee shirt and shorts here. Heating off, but did buy oil for the tank last week whilst the price is low, and the boiler was serviced yesterday. Probably put it on late October or early November for an hour or so at night if it gets cold. |

Ive already tested my central heating system ready for winter, ive run it 3 times to make sure everything is in working order.
Nothing worse than when you need it and that boiler has broken down and you can be days without your boiler. |

I invested in some cuddly thick fleecy Oodies not cheap but worth every penny. When I put mine on I don’t need to put on the heating, I’m snug as a bug all cosy and warm |

I don’t switch it, it’s like automatic based on temperature . I hear it click on for hot water and sometimes if temperature gets too low it goes on.
Windy earlier and rain pissing down past hour so fair enough if it’s kicked on a little |
