"Just flirted with an ambulance guy, over coffee. I'm doing my bit
Were you tempted to faint? "
I did feel a little weak, as I was on comedown, after being in the gym. I should have let my energy fall, and fainted at his feet! I'm too naturally honest |

How anyone can have a good experience with the police blows my mind. Every single time I've had to contact or had contact with the police they have been absolutely useless.
They almost resulted in the death of my youngest. Instead she was left in a coma for 3 months. |

The paramedics who took me from ashington hospital to cramlington one when I had my heart attack were amazing they even came to the ward to visit me the next night |

Thank God for the emergency services. Over the last 14 years they’ve seen cutbacks Numbers reducing and with less resource to go around, thank you to them and thank you OP For creating this thread |

We became regular blue light users with my mum. An ambulance crew attended her monthly and sometimes more frequently in her last year or so. They were always excellent. Both of us have a lot of family members in the medical profession who work extremely hard under enormous pressure and in the fire service. I also have family in the police force.
As with every single job you get good and bad. Fortunately the good prevail and I'm glad they all exist. I'm also very glad I can call for an ambulance without worrying if I can afford it |
