Disabled fetish a tabboo

Is it, just taboo? Is it bad/wrong to want to seek out someone with a physical disability? Is it ok-er if the seeker has a disability?
I feel like they're hidden more than they're not, but I also feel like it's a sexy thing.
Just me? |

I personally don't think it's a taboo just because they may have a physical disability they can and do still enjoy alot of sexual experiences they still have the ability to want and need sexual satisfaction |

Physical disabilities come in a broad spectrum, not all of which are visible, so it cannot, for me, be put to a specific answer
What they should not be or nor should anybody be, in my opinion, is objectified for this.

Why do you feel they are hidden? |

People with disabilities like sex and want to feel attractive just as much as anyone else.
The issue tends to be the rest of society. Shame related to disabilities etc.
Mundane dating can be a nightmare let alone anything else.
I do know of people with disabilities who like going to alt clubs like Club Anti-Christ because they're just accepted and not stared at.
A key issue, with things like swinging is being treated like a piece of meat, because someone has an amputation or wheelchair kink.
So they're more interested in the disability than the person. I know this can also frustrate a lot of Bi people who are seen as 'Unicorns' for a couple to play with and then get discarded once playtime is over.

"I suspect like anything someone with a disability would prefer to be wanted for themselves not because of their condition "
Bingo!
Often, disability fetishism is assumed or foisted upon disabled people, a bit like dick pics are pinged at you. It's pretty irritating tbh. |

Disability not a fetish but something I'm happy to work with. Same with amputee. |

You all make interesting and equally valid points.
I highly respect the disabled community, I'm a part of it, I just don't come across them often, and want to, so much so now that it's a bit of a kink! I've been incredibly attracted to many different types of disability but the opportunity never presented itself. |

Attracted to the disability or the person? |

I don't think it's wrong to seek out those who fit your preference. We're just people making our own way along our own rocky paths. I like sharing happy moments with different folks on the way. |

Again, valid and interesting points.
I'm a wheelchair user myself. I guess it's like a black guy seeking out a black girl, that's never been with a black girl. I'm black too.. It's not particularly physical, or cultural, I think its more of a mental thing if I were to try to pinpoint a logic.
That said, I have consistently found every amputee iv come across very sexy. |

I'm disabled. I do try harder to compensate. Could be my competitive nature, could be that I just enjoy giving my all. But I am a hung guy with little dick energy.
But I'm not trying to hunt on the vulnerable. |
