Fear of missing out
Do you spend too long on social media or on here browsing and taking part of just being a voyeur?
Is this from fear of missing out or for other reasons such as relieving boredom
I have no social media (I don’t put fab in the social media bracket) as I used to spend far too many hours on there doing not a lot |

Prefer to be doing than a voyeur and I wouldn’t say I avoid it entirely but inevitably on Fab you’ll see what others do if it’s pics, videos or status updates.
Sometimes it’s ooh that looks amazing and other times it’s fml and cursing lack of opportunity.
So yeah some FOMO but can’t be helped

"I've cut back alot on social media, I did used to live on it to kill time.
I don't count fab as social media "

I’ve become the same, less social media and only when I have to. I also do not count Fab as social media but more connection to like minded individuals |

I go on Fab when I’m bored mostly….
I don’t log out because I can’t remember my password to go back online 🤭 so it looks that I might be online a lot but that’s not the case.
I only feel FOMO when I see videos of ladies having 3-4 guys all over them 😛 |

I don't have social media either so never really had FOMO from that. I do occasionally get it from here though, say when a weekend is over and you see the statuses and new verifications of everyone that's met up which can be a bit of a killer but doesn't always bother me that much.
I do find I often get it in clubs though when I see people seemingly take everything in their stride and make it look easy and be successful. Then I get FOMO wondering why that can't happen to me. |

I’m not on any of the socials so certainly no FOMO there. In fact not only is there no fear I genuinely don’t think I’m missing out in any way. They’ve been part of society for about 20-25 years and I haven’t ever been on any of them.
I don’t class Fab as a social platform although I do only ever come on to engage with people on the forums. I could quite happily leave it for a week at a time but I’m single and spend my evenings alone, so it’s my virtual company during those times.
I also don’t see sexy status updates from people I like as FOMO. Perhaps a wistful thought of ‘I wish that had been me’ but no more than that. |

I used too and then I just thought, life is short and if I feel like I'm missing out, make my own memories, own fun, so now that's what we do.
I'm just glad my kids were born when they were because I just know if it was now, I'd be wanting to do all those things that you think you must do that you see on social media with them. |
