It's that time of year folks. The spiders are coming inside to have more sex than we are!

I personally don't mind them, but I refuse to share a bath with one!

How do you react when you see a spider in your personal space?

Are you the one who removes them? Or do you have a nominated 'spider catcher' in your house? 🕷

I don’t like them 😬 but I’m better than I was. I’ll have to decide if I’m going to temporarily move out of the rooms I find them in or try to co exist. No way I’ll be able to remove them. Shudder.

Up until recently i wouldnt get too close to them and avoid them and hope theyd disappear by themselves.

But these days im actually comfortable to scoop them up in a cup and put them outside 😌

They have to go or I can't sleep peacefully. I've gotten better at smashing them, but if they're particularly scary I might disarm them first with hairspray.

I can cohabit with them very well, it's those big massive ones that scurry across the floor when I'm relaxed at night that bring me out in a cold sweat. 😵‍💫

I have a dedicated spider catching cup and book that I use to either toss them out the window or on the driveway bushes

I'm the nominated spider catcher. I don't mind them inside, but my teenagers are both extremely phobic.

Not a fan. Not a fan at all.

Depending on shape, size and location, I will adopt one of the following policies: 1.ignore and peacefully coexist, 2.gently relocate outdoor where they belong, or -not without a pang of guilt- 3.stomp the fucker to a pulp.

Spider catcher and remover is my husband's job. He's good at it, except when he wants to traumatise me or the kids and tries to open his hands in our faces so we can see how big the spider is

I quite like spiders but Mr N isn't keen on them in the house so he'll eject them also if they get too near the tortoise she'd eat them. Neither if us is scared of them

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

Spiders don't faze me. I remove them or kill them.

That being said, a spider has resisted all attempts at eviction from my car's rear view mirror on the passenger side. The same cobweb returns after a few days 😂

I'm the designated spider evictor, they just get yeeted out of the nearest door or window. Surprisingly K used to have a tarantula when she was younger but can't stand spiders now 😅

If you put them outside they just come back in again. House spiders evolved to live in caves so they seek enclosed spaces. You could try putting them in your shed or garage. Heard Chris Packham talking about this the other day.

I'd take spiders over fly's any day,

I usually pick them up and take them into the garden if they're hanging around or near me

Those of you removing spiders from the house and taking them outside are effectively giving them a death sentence. They won't survive outdoors and have come inside to be warm.

I agree, it's mean letting them suffer in the cold.

This is why I kill them inside in the warmth.

I’m not too fussed about the critters themselves but cobwebs irritate me no end. Especially when I walk through one. So I hoover the little builders up. Quick and simple.

I don't mind spiders as long as there not on me. I leave them alone and name them the longer I get to know them

Big ones terrify me. I hoover them up and pray to the suction gods not to let me down. I empty the hoover outside and give directions to the nearest wall.

If I don’t see them I don’t care. Just don’t advertise yourselves.

There are a few suction gods on fab whose ears are burning.
