I'm thinking Schwartzel has a fair shot, he's hitting the ball well and fairly consistent. Nobody's really standing out yet.

The story's the young Chinese kid, and I can say kid cos that's what he is. What a debut round

Best bet for me was Woods to beat McIlroy at 4/6, no such thing as a cert but great value

Woods is back. When he was on the ropes McIlroy and the others powered on but this year, only one bet for me.

Tiger all the way.

I bunged a tenner on the Tiger at 4/1 last week, not a bad shout.

Got an each way on Adam Scott too, always back and outside shot. Great price at 28/1

Can't see past woods......

Aslong as woods or mcdowell don't win then I will be happy

Would like mickleson or Ricky fowlerto win but it won't happen.....

Ok.....the cut hasn't made a huge reduction in the field and to be fair, a ten shot deficit can easily disappear so its still anyone's tournament to grab a hold of.

I suppose you could argue a case for almost all of the players currently in red to have a chance, it only takes a hit streak on the back nine and you're right up there.

Anyone venturing a prediction yet, I sticking to my initial one that Tiger's gonna put together a round that will break the field and win by 3 or 4 shots.

Looks like we're soon gonna find out how much power TV companies and sponsors have over sporting events. Woods should be disqualified. The general consensus is that he should be disqualified. But will he? Or will they bottle it?

The perfect solution would be for Woods to disqualify himself...don't hold your breath though!

He signed his card. What a cop out.

"what happen to young 14 year old Tianlang Guan

It was a time penalty....harsh but within the rules.

What a talent this lad is.

Should have been automatic disqualification. ..wonder how the USPGA will explain that one?

Certainly looks like a massive cop out on the part of the rules bods.

One wonders what the result would have been had it not been Tiger

Apparently the last time a penalty was issued for slow-play at a major was 1995.

It seems odd. If no disqualification then why two strokes?. Surely it should only be one. Shit will hit if he wins it.

He should disqualify himself and not turn up on the 1st tee later.

It all leaves a rather sour taste in the mouth.

Why would they want to disqualify their biggest cash cow??? Millions of people would switch over the channel if TW went home early ...let's be realistic about this after all.

Not to mention how much golf owes the fella ...lots

To be honest I'd rather he was there than not.

Even at the expense of bending the rules at best or possibly rewriting them. You sign a wrong card then you're gone. At any level.

The halfway cut isn't an invitational. At least it wasn't.

I can't see anyone other than Tiger winning it he has a determined look and It would be good for him to find his winning streak again.

I see your point but it seems rightly or wrongly a decision was made and people should just get on with it

Oh yes! Not very often I'd cheer an Aussie win but since I'd backed him at 28/1 last week. Woohoo, beers on me!
