What's suddenly popped up on your radar recently? I ended up having surgery on my wrist today. I'd expected a long wait but got a call yesterday, offering a cancellation to have it done today!
So, I've had a surgeon have a good dig around inside my hand/wrist and now look like I'm ready to go boxing 
I can't propel my wheelchair at the moment

I hope so too! It wasn't as easy as expected. They encountered "tougher than expected tissue" and "a very tight space to operate in" so ended up with a much bigger incision and digging about.
It was interesting to see inside my own wrist though |

COVID!!
I took a test when i came down with a “virus”.
It came back negative but everyone around me came down with the same thing and their tests came back positive.  |

I hope you have a quick recovery OP, i can imagine it’s a difficult time in regards to your mobility.

I'd not done anything specific, I've been having problems for the past year or so with loss of sensation and loss of grip strength and today they decompressed the nerve in my wrist/hand.
It smarts a bit now |

Bit morbid but doggo passed away and much as it was expected, I'm pretending there's no hole but it's pretty big. There's so much time, space, routine, motion now gone. Been clearing everything out and just tidying leads brings a such a comforting sound, but they have to be got rid of. |

Well they tested for arthritis - nothing to be found and that was that "
Tests can lie! My bloods and x-rays showed nothing specific but an experienced upper limb surgeon described my surgery as one of the toughest due to the unusually fibrous tissue and when injecting the thumb joint, had to do it in two portions because of lack of space in the joint. None of that showed on scans etc! |

Had an x-ray on my shoulder not too long ago and found that I've got calcific tendonitis. Might take up to a year to fully recover, which is fun.
Had issues with constant pain since around Feb/Mar and was surprised that it wasn't just achy muscles or something boring lol. |
