One chats to fellow fabbers frequently but when it comes down to arranging a meet up, it all suddenly goes quiet. Where are the genuine fabbers? Not the chatters.

People have different availabilities, preferences for when they are ready to meet and the majority of chatting people won't be mutually compatible with each other.

I think people have to be realistic on how often couples and women actually meet. At best we're once a month, some people are more often but many are much less.

Considering the ratio of men to women & couples on here it's impossible to keep up, so chatting is great but really only means you've passed the first hurdle of actually getting a response.

For every meet we have we might talk to 10 guys or more.

Sorry!

I have magic incantations that make people disappear off the face of the earth.

I'll be chatting away with someone and it's going good.

But then I will use the magic words 'Lets meet up', and whoosh! they are never heard from again!

We're genuinely genuine, we're not into long chats. If someone tickles our fancy we'll arrange to meet in a club, if they still tickle our fancy we could tickle each other's fancy

Some people just like the chat ...Then there's the hurdle of being able to accommodate...if both people can't for one reason or another that makes it difficult, unless your prepared to get a room jointly ...

Then timing, not everyone can do 'fuck you now etc ' meets ...

Then there's that old chestnut that some people just think their entitled, and you should meet because it suits them !

That's before you even get to the wankers and dreamers

It's a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't.

If we chat people assume we want to meet. We don't know if we do until we've chatted.

If we don't chat people say we're rude because we don't engage.

I think the answer is to be clear from the first message.

I like chatting. There are a lot of people on here who I have chatted to and not met, there are others who I have chatted to and met socially, and there are some who I have chatted to and it has gone a lot further.

It's good to talk (as the BT advert used to say)
