I don't think so. I'm not sure people do look younger than their age, just better with it than those of a similar age.
I still get ID'd now and I'm getting on a bit. The only curse is I get told I look cute/adorable far more than sexy but it's a cross I bravely bear. |

My main problem is people often mistake my daughter for my girlfriend when we are out. Had some awkward conversation at hotels when we go on holiday and I complain that I ordered separate beds and have to explain I am her dad. |

"Why would looking younger than 50 put people off?"
I don't look my age and find it's used as an excuse to say no. I have been told I look "too young" when we are the same age and been told I'm "too old" when we look the same. But I'm really happy to be aging well. I'm not going to complain about it.

Most people think that I'm in my early to mid fifties not only because I look younger than my actual age but also because I keep myself quiet fit.
Looking younger than my age is definitely a blessing and it has worked to my advantage in clubs however, on Fab is concerned, it counts for nothing as the software blocks you messaging people that looking for someone younger than my actual age; quite frustrating when I know that I'm younger looking and fitter than some of the people that can get in touch. |

Definitely a blessing. But I do always wonder what the turning point is. Personally there was a point where I always wished I looked older…now, I’m ecstatic when people tell me I look younger than my age. |

Some people think I look 10 years younger than I am. Others think I'm my age. Depends who I'm stood next to and what the person looking at me thinks i guess.
Personally, I'm happy with how i look. I got to (nearly 50), with my hair intact, decent shape and just a smattering of gray hair at the temples that dissappears after a barbers vist (for a few weeks anyway). We all get older...just rock it as well as you can.

It definitely is a curse O.P. I got really tired arguing at the Post Office week in week out just so I could get my pension.
These days I wear one of those large birthday badges so people will believe me. |

"I’m 50 look younger wonder if it puts people off"
That’s refreshing. All the “50” year olds that message me had really fucking hard paper rounds is all I’m saying 🤣🤣🤣
I get told I look younger but
A) it’s bullshit to get in my knickers I suspect
B) I’m short so I think it confuses their old eyes 🤣🤣🤣 |

I don’t think they’re any negatives if it’s natural , I often get told I look 10-15 younger & so far it’s only been good - career, dating etc.
I’m considering having a bit of work done but I’m worried it could spoil the natural look like I’ve colleagues older than me that look like startled rabbits, that’s not a good look |
