Feeling Overwhelmed in Busy Clubs - Anyone Else?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi everyone,
I hope you're all having a great day. I've been attending clubs for a while now, and while I really enjoy the atmosphere and energy, I sometimes find myself feeling overwhelmed when it's particularly busy. It's like I get stuck, and starting a conversation with people I don't know becomes a real challenge for me.
I'm curious if anyone else feels the same way? How do you handle it or get past that initial hesitation? Any tips or advice would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Yes!! I feel like this often. I then normally find myself in a quiet corner somewhere and unable to get out. Not sure how to better manage it. I feel awkward keep walking up to people to introduce myself. |

To be honest if someone who struggled to start conversations came to speak to us and just said I'm really sorry I'm terrible at this, I think it would put everyone at ease and the whole situation would probably become easier.
Even if there's no sexual connection, it would still be a good way to ease into the night by just chatting. Nobody feeling awkward or left out stood in a corner |

I'm in a chat group as part of a swingers club and they were discussing the use of "loops"! Noise reducing ear plugs. It was a very informative conversation about I hypersensitivity, reducing the noise. Some use airpos or other noise reduction devices. Maybe it's something you can think about too. |

My wife and I are the same. Regardless of if we go together or alone, the busier it is, the harder it is to socialise. Too crowded and too noisey. But we are talking when there was 100 plus people.
The best nighta we've had where usually less than 40 people. |
