I was gonna try for Manchester but after seeing it's standing only and over £100 per ticket, I cancelled my hotel room and not bothering.
The only way I will get to go to wembley is checking nearer the time like I did Harry Styles and getting tickets on the off chance (not likely!)
Good luck to all those trying today! |

Was teased about being in the pre-sale ballot but never received a code yesterday.
Was on website early but it crashed and had to rejoin the queue, not a queue to but tickets mind you, a queue just to get on the website!
Pointless.
*sigh* |

Ticketmaster know their website gets a spike in traffic for big gigs, it should be set up to handle it! This is like a DoS attack! Pathetic when your business model relies on a website. Imagine Amazon going down or Google!
Or split timing of the sale by venue so traffic is rolling! |

I've mentioned that before when trying to get Dave Gilmore tickets. The site and ticket 'market price' policies are ridiculous and need legislation to curb the blatant rip off.
I've been in a queue for a while and like a sensible gambler, I've set a ticket in my head I won't go above.
The system is wrong as alot of the pre-sale ones are already on other sites at a highly inflated price. This turns alot of people into a tout!! Also seeing the prices those pre-sale ones are already going for , looks like I won't be going if I do get through this queue. |

I wish people would need to by tickets associated with a unique identifier (like their mobile phone number) and cut out the retracted. Things are so expensive at present and access to shows like this should see the money go to the right place!!! If a ticket costs £2000 then that cash should go to the artist and to ensure the stadium is safe and accessible. Reselling adds no value to fans at all… Ticketmaster and Bandsintown already provide the access needed. |

I would have been interested in going to see them at Wembley but this whole charade puts me right off.
I’m far from the biggest fan but I like (most of) their music and would have enjoyed it, especially as it’s a throwback to my yoof. But battling to get into a queue just to be allowed into the queue is three steps too far for me. I’ll wait for the shaky, blurred videos of a sea of arms holding phones and the odd glimpse of an ageing rocker to be uploaded to a well known sharing platform. |

It really would not have been hard to prioritise the pre sale ballot by the length of time someone has been on the Oasis website mailing list. I am not one of those old timers who does not welcome the younger new fans, more the merrier, but there should be some reward for loyalty surely? |

When I heard about the tour I was really excited and wanted tickets but I soon changed my mind. The hype has really irritated me, then the prices were announced and that put me right off. It's ridiculous. Manchester is standing only and outside, so probably will piss it down too haha Then the hotels are upping their prices to get more money out of people. I can see restaurants and other places doing the same. I just can't justify spending that amount of money. Add to that the stress of actually trying to buy tickets. I'm not doing it.
They will probably fall out again and cancel anyway haha x |

Well I'm sacking this. I was on three different site queues.
* One site has thrown me off by timing out
* One site I've been in a queue for the queue since 9:00... and not even a fifth way on the bar, and moving slowly.
* One site I'm 133,609 at last look since 9:00.
The scalping site are already loaded with tickets, so the only ones left will be probably be 'package' ones.
They're good but not worth this hassle and I won't get anything like the views I got when seeing Noel the other month.
Good luck everyone. |

Just been chatting to a mate who works in the ticket industry and he says there are approx 1.3 million tickets up for grabs across the 17 dates announced and that expected demand would be about 14 to 20 million wishing to purchase. Sure, that means many left disappointed but the system is designed to handle that volume.
However, actual demand has spiked at an unprecedented level, mainly due to people abroad but UK demand in excess of the expected amounts too, causing it to "pause" as he put it.
Its crazy! |

Ticketmaster’s shop cannot handle customer volumes. It is ridiculous. Imagine Amazon’s site working that way. Pathetic.
As said above, there are ways around this if the promotors/ticket sellers/artists have the will. |

I was logged on early and got in the queue. I eventually got to number 1 and it said my turn was next. It started loading like it was taking me to another page....
Message popped up. Due to inactivity on your account your session has ended. It then logged me out of the site altogether. From being number 1 I'd then gone to the very back of the queue waiting to log into the website.

mixture of things .... freelancing in logistics for various record labels (including creation records), freelancing as av-tech on gigs etc etc.
i'm not surprised that ticketmaster is not a pleasant experience for those trying to purchase tickets. their owner, live nation, is just a global musical meat-grinder. it speaks volumes that the band are prepared to do business with them to be fair. they're one of the few bands in the world who can just by-pass them and suffer no bullying like smaller bands and venues have take from live-nation. |

Given up. 5 hrs queuing just to get on tje website to then join the queue to but tickets for an c.80,000 seat venue and finding c.400,000 in the queue ahead of you was simple maths!

Unlikely, buy it would be funny to watch them go on stage to do a sold out show with only a few hundred people actually attending, because the rest of the tickets were bought by touts operating via companies registered in Cyprus. |

We got two for Heaton Park and two for Wembley standing!
Ticketmaster needs prosecuting for what they pulled today. The hypocrisy to call out touts whilst they surge the price of an 'in demand' ticket was truly appalling.

Ticketmaster did a fantastic job today
They sold all the tickets
They used dynamic pricing to allow the ticket prices to double and treble in price
They allow Oasis to gouge their own fans as it was them that set the ticket price they wanted to make as much money as possible
They took all the flack for the working class men of the people Liam and Noel
Job done .... |

Sounds like there are varying stories of some success and some failures. Mine was a failure though luckily they weren't for me anyway. Waited on the original queue for over 2 hours and got 7/8 of the way there but then it seemed to stop almost. Anyway spoke to the person I was getting the tickets for and he said that after that original queue there was another queue and he was 220,000 so I said I think I'd better give up then lol. Though over 2 hours of my life wasted that I won't get back lmao |

I am not locking up £1,000 interest-free for a year on a bet they will show up and finish the show. It's just not worth it. I like them, but they have to earn back the trust of the audiences before we top up Noel's divorce fund. |

Save your money.
When Oasis implode again, because these two siblings are stuck at age 14, and couldnt work together if their lives depended on it, whilst you should get your ticket price back, any fees (robbing bassads!) will not be refunded.

Music spans generations, I understand that, but it does make me laugh all the people in their teens and 20's who were either at primary school/nursery or not even born first time around, if you didn't live the moment, you don't really know! |

"Crazy prices to see a Beatles tribute act.
More money than sense some people."
Crazy prices = agree
Beatles tribute act = yawn out of touch hackneyed appraisal of the music by Oasis. Loved by millions so can’t be all bad 🤷🏻♂️ |

I think it is good that new generations discover previous generations music. I was a kid in the 80s who loved a lot of music from the 60s (parents record collection). |

Totally agree! As a kid I was into loads of bands who had split up long before, it didn't stop me enjoying them though. You can't help when you were born! |

"Seen em twice. Shite both times! I probably won't bother.
Great first album. Decent second. Slowly disappeared up their own arses after that."
I am of the firm belief that they wouldn't have been as popular without the media generated rivalry with Blur, and their constant fighting. Unfortunately it seemed the drama of the band became a defining factor of why people followed them as much as the music. |

I took my daughter (23) to see Iron Maiden a couple of years ago.

I find it fascinating how people feel the need to piss on other people’s cornflakes. Of course some people don’t like Oasis. Music is totally subjective. But when a thread is started by people who DO like Oasis to discuss tickets, why do folks feel the need to still post a comment slagging off the band? What does that achieve exactly? There are loads of bands/artists I don’t like and some I outright hate, but I would never drop a comment in a thread in them because quite frankly it is childish, puerile even! Grow up! |

I did see a meme where someone said they had a doctors appointments for this week and they would be willing to swap for 2 Oasis tickets |

"I got in after 7 hours in the queue. I could not buy any of the seats I tried. After a few minutes the system raised prices from 269 to 469 and then kicked me out before I could choose seats. Fuck them. They are not worth the money they are asking.
Ouch! That is ridiculous price to ask anyone to pay "
Everyone is screaming about this today… apparently there was “dynamic pricing” model on the tickets… basically the same thing they use for airline flights
Interesting that ticketmaster are claiming it’s not them it’s the “tour operators “…. But live nation who are doing this own ticketmaster!!!
They claim it stops touting… but it’s effectively price gouging under a different name! |

It's ridiculous. Unless Noel and Liam are going to have Jesus Christ pop up onstage with them there's no justification for £469 for a standard ticket. |

According to ticket master it's the band and promoters that choose dynamic or fixed ticket prices. Since the promoter has to pay for everything then it makes sense to have dynamic pricing since they'll get more revenue. Only winners are Ticketmaster, the promoter and the band. |

For that price I want an original Van Halen line up reunion. |

"I wouldn't go and watch them two smack-heads if someone paid me."
Music appreciation is subjective. Its impolite to denigrate the musical choice of others, the same as you would find it impolite if others challenged your tastes.
Unless their favourite band is Chumbawumba. |

Because people have an overwhelming urge to tell you their view point, despite the fact no one cares or asked for them to comment!
Anyway, big love to those who got tickets and are over the moon about going! Those who didn't, there will be opportunities over the coming months to get some!

What's the betting the guy who was trending on social media, advising people to hit Alt+F4 to jump to the top of the queue, managed to jump the queue pretty quick.
*Alt+F4 dumped you out of the page.

sorry to hear of the horrific experience people have had over the last 24hrs and commiserations to those who lost out.
it wouldn't surprise me if this live-nation fiasco will trigger a parliamentry inquiry into what's happened, how their near total monopoly cripples the countries music industry going forward and result in calls for live nation to be broken up. george osbourne has a great deal to answer to on this one.

Near the end of the day, standing room only tickets were £411 and seats were over £500. Remember how he used to pull out his Amex card during interviews and take digs at less fortunate people? He's doing it again. We almost believed he was the "cultured one" of the two. |

We managed to secure tickets, we had them purchased by 9:40am. Didn’t crash for us once, we breezed through. That was our experience, not gloating, because I would have been frustrated like the rest of the nation with all the stories I’ve heard getting kicked out of the queue etc.
But there seemed to be a lot of dodgy tips like refreshing the page and having a lot of different devices ready. That just increases your risk of getting jibbed off in my eyes… anyway, roll on next year haha |

"Crazy what ppl would pay to see them.
If you include travel and hotel etc you could be close to £700 for one gig.
The support act or acts has to be top for that as well.
"
Just more confirmation that we have a surplus of idiots in the uk |
